Sri Dattatreya is the bestower of knowledge (Gnana), and is considered as the first guru for Earth. He is regarded to be a combination and embodiment of the core tattva’s of  Bramha, Vishnu and Rudra.  Every week we do abhishekam to Sri Dattatreya.
